ABOUT CENTRAL NEBRASKA LUTHERAN
Central Nebraska Lutheran School (CNLS) is a vibrant, Christ-centered educational community in Grand Island, Nebraska, serving students from Preschool through 12th Grade across two connected campuses:
Trinity Lutheran School (Pre-K–6)
Grand Island Lutheran High (7–12)
United by a shared Lutheran faith and mission, CNLS is dedicated to nurturing the whole child—academically, spiritually, and personally. We equip students to become confident, compassionate leaders who excel in their studies, grow deeper in their walk with Christ, and live lives of meaningful service in God’s world.
At CNLS, every student is known, valued, and challenged to reach their God-given potential in a supportive, family-like environment rooted in the timeless truth of God’s Word.
OUR WHY
In a world full of noise, confusion, and shifting values, Central Nebraska Lutheran School provides students with an education grounded in God’s unchanging Word, academic excellence, and Christ-centered community. We believe that faith and knowledge go hand in hand, and our mission is to nurture the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—so they are prepared to impact the world for Christ in whatever vocation God calls them to.
We exist to raise up faithful, well-equipped Christian leaders for tomorrow—servant-hearted boys and girls who know Christ, live with purpose, and boldly shine His light in the world.
We are here because:
