Academic Overview
From playful beginnings in PreK through graduation day, CNLS offers a strong, balanced curriculum rooted in Christian values and high expectations. Our teachers cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity, while small class sizes and individual attention ensure that every student is challenged and supported.
Our Story
Central Nebraska Lutheran School unites a rich legacy of Lutheran education in Grand Island—combining the tradition and strengths of Trinity Lutheran (PreK–6) and Grand Island Lutheran High (7–12, formerly Heartland Lutheran). Together, we serve families across the region, providing a seamless journey of faith and learning for the next generation.
