Trinity Lutheran School: A Legacy of Faith & Learning

1882 Shortly after Trinity Lutheran Church was founded, our Christian day school opened — the first classes held in the same building that served as church and schoolhouse at Second and Vine.
1885 Mr. Wiesbrodt was called as Trinity’s first permanent teacher.
1893 The congregation moved into a beautiful new stone church building next door.
1923 The growing school was enlarged to welcome more families.
1930 Our current school site was purchased and a new four-room building dedicated on August 17.
1952 Two additional classrooms were added.
1962 Major expansion: four new classrooms, library, lunchroom, gymnasium, and offices.
1978 Final addition: four more classrooms, a youth center, and expanded offices — completing the campus we love today.
